As of 11:45AM this morning, I am officially done with my sophomore year at James Madison Memorial. No more dripping ceilings, no more saggy dividers, no more paper thin walls, no more fights at lunch, and no more security guards!!! I am done... for the time being :/ Though I feel great because school's out... There was an unfortunate event that happened two nights ago that made the end of school a bit bittersweet. A kid in my grade was shot and killed in a drive-by, and the one of the people under arrest for taking part in the murder goes to my school TOO! That was not very encouraging to hear over the loud speaker:/ Why do things like that happen?
Well... There really isn't any more to say- Next time I'll be taking classes is at Canisius-Kolleg! ah! Oh... also- I've been getting a ton of emails from my host mom recently!!! They are all in German... which is good because I need to learn it:) I can't tell you how happy I am when I get emails from her. She just tells me about their weekends and what they're up to...it's nice!

Thats really sad about the kid who got killed. :(
but yeah private catholic schools ahh, i hope its okay! are you going to have to pay any extra tuition or anything like that?
my host parents said they will take care of everything... so I'm not worrying about it!
